Casa Altavista is a country house over 100 years old located just 5 minutes walk from the Alora town. It has been completely restored and equipped so that you can enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. Thanks to its thick stone walls and to the roof covered with rustic tiles the house keeps a nice temperature all year.

The property has got more than 12 acres plenty of fruit and olive trees around the house. The orange, lemon, loquats, avocado, custard apple, pomegranate and fig trees in the old vegetable garden will make you feel as being in an oasis full of the Andalusian scent, colour and flavor. The typical grape vine arbor in the front of the cottage will provide you a refreshing shadow during the hottest months of summer.
When going for a walk inside the property you will discover many beautiful and cozy hideouts among the palm, olive and almond trees from which you can gaze at the fanciful rock forms of the mount named Monte Hacho and enjoy the spectacular views over the Valle del Gualdalhorce. For those people keen on astronomy the nightfall will offer them a clean star-filled sky.
We enjoy such a beautiful natural environment thanks to a very much appreciated good: the water flowing from its springs which the Arabs and even the Romans already made the most of it.
